Women in Colour

Contemporary Indigenous women artists from NT, WA, SA and QLD through painting tell stories of Country, family and person stories. 

Cooee Art was established in 1981 and runs a hybrid art model to represent and support artists in an ethical and sustainable way. They run two galleries,  in the heart of Aboriginal Sydney, Redfern, and a boutique collector’s showroom gallery and consultancy destination in Australia’s iconic Bondi Beach. Together, they offer a unique and informative insight into the world of Australian Indigenous art.
