Learn the secrets of drawing a life like portrait with Michael Simms

'Beginners Portraiture with Charcoal'

In this workshop Michael will begin the tuition with a demonstration and talk through his own process of creating works to highlight proportion and tonal shapes within a portrait.

Using a live model as a subject, Michael will then guide you through the process of drawing on your own drawing.

Please Note: The following drawing materials will be supplied by the Gallery:

willow charcoal, kneadable eraser, dry brush, cartridge paper, butcher's paper, drawing board
